About Taman Tema MBSP
Taman Tema MBSP, also known as MPSP Theme Park, is a public water park located within the Kompleks Sukan MPSP along Jalan Betek in Bukit Mertajam. Managed by the Seberang Perai City Council (MBSP), it provides an affordable recreational facility for the mainland community. The park is part of a larger sports complex that serves the Seberang Perai Tengah district.
The water park features three pools of varying depths, making it suitable for babies, toddlers, and older children. Its primary attraction is a kiddy water slide, complemented by basic fountain features. The facility is designed for casual family bonding and is particularly popular on weekends and school holidays due to its nominal entry fee.
Basic amenities at the site include changing rooms, showers, restrooms, and a shoe rack. While it does not offer the extensive high-adrenaline rides found in commercial theme parks, it provides a safe and clean environment for children to play in water. The park is fenced for security and offers some shaded areas and gazebos for parents and guardians to rest.
