Suling Hill

Suling Hill is a private hilltop retreat located near the Mengkuang Dam in Bukit Mertajam. Although the land is privately owned, it is open to the public for recreation, featuring an observatory platform, a reading room, and chalets.

The hill is particularly famous for its durian orchards, where premium varieties like Black Thorn and Musang King are cultivated. It offers panoramic views of the dam and the surrounding Seberang Perai plains. The ascent to the summit is along a well-maintained paved road that is suitable for both hikers and mountain bikers.
