Relau Villa (Relau House)

Relau Villa, also known as Relau House, is a historical landmark located in the Relau area. This was the former residence of Chung Thye Phin, who was the last Kapitan China of Perak and a wealthy tin miner and planter. The villa, though now in a state of disrepair, is a significant piece of local history. It is a large, European-style mansion that reflects the wealth and status of its former owner. The villa and its surrounding estate are a reminder of the era of the powerful Chinese towkays (businessmen) who played a crucial role in the economic development of the region during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
