Penang Sentral is a major multi-modal transportation hub located in Butterworth, serving as the primary gateway to the northern region of Peninsular Malaysia. Opened in 2018, the integrated terminal connects ferry services to George Town, the KTM railway station, and both local and intercity bus networks. It is designed to provide seamless connectivity for commuters and travelers moving between the mainland and the island.

The facility also functions as a lifestyle and retail complex, featuring a variety of shops, dining outlets, and services across multiple levels. It offers modern amenities such as air-conditioned waiting areas, digital ticketing kiosks, and expansive views of the Penang Strait. Penang Sentral is a central component of the state's urban development plan, aiming to revitalize the Butterworth waterfront and improve public transit efficiency.
