About Penang Bird Park
Located in Seberang Jaya on the mainland, the Penang Bird Park is the first and one of the largest bird parks in Malaysia. It is set in a beautifully landscaped garden with a variety of tropical plants, waterfalls, and ponds, creating a naturalistic habitat for its avian residents. The park is home to thousands of birds from hundreds of different species, both local and from around the world. A key feature is the large walk-in aviaries, where visitors can get up close to the birds as they fly freely in a spacious, enclosed environment. The park is dedicated to conservation, breeding, and research, and it offers an enjoyable and educational experience for all ages. Regular bird shows and feeding sessions add to the interactive fun, making it a must-visit for nature lovers and families.
