About Muzium Perhutanan
The Muzium Perhutanan, or Forestry Museum, is an educational institution located within the Teluk Bahang Forest Park. It is dedicated to the conservation, research, and promotion of knowledge about Malaysia's rich forestry heritage. The museum houses a collection of exhibits that showcase the incredible biodiversity of the Malaysian tropical rainforest. Visitors can learn about the different types of forests, the various species of timber trees and their uses, and the wide array of other forest products. The museum also plays an important role in educating the public about the challenges of deforestation and the importance of sustainable forest management, making it an informative first stop before exploring the forest park itself.
