Laksamana Hill

Laksamana Hill

About Laksamana Hill

Laksamana Hill is a hill located in the forested interior of Penang Island, in the area between Balik Pulau and Teluk Bahang. "Laksamana" is a historical Malay title, equivalent to an admiral. The hill is a destination for experienced hikers and jungle trekkers who are looking to explore the wilder, more rugged parts of the island's central forest reserve. The trails on Laksamana Hill would be challenging, taking hikers through the dense, primary tropical rainforest.

Those who undertake the trek would be rewarded with a deep immersion in nature and, from any clearings or the summit, spectacular views of the pristine forest and the surrounding island landscape.
