Laguna Waterpark

Laguna Waterpark is a specialized boutique water park located within the Grand Orient Hotel complex in Perai, Seberang Perai. It is uniquely designed with an Amazon-inspired theme, featuring lush landscaping, green walls, rock carvings, and sculptures that mimic a tropical jungle environment. It is the first hotel in Penang to feature a fully integrated themed water park of this scale.

The park offers a variety of aquatic facilities, including the Aqua Kids Zone, a wading pool, and a professional lap pool. For thrill-seekers, the park features two vortex water slides and an "Active River" with water treadmill machines that create currents for a more challenging swimming or riding experience. Other amenities include an outdoor jacuzzi and a pool volleyball area for group recreation.[16]

While the facility serves as a major amenity for the Grand Orient Hotel's in-house guests and residents of the adjacent Laguna Condominiums, it is also open to the general public for a fee. The park enforces a strict proper swimwear policy and provides essential services such as locker and tube rentals.
