About Kampung Agong
Kampung Agong is a popular and beautifully designed agro-theme park located in Penaga, on the mainland side of Penang. It was created to offer visitors an idyllic and nostalgic experience of a traditional Malaysian village or "kampung." The park is set within a vast and picturesque coconut plantation and features traditional wooden kampung houses on stilts, a scenic paddy field, and many other elements that evoke the charm of rural life. Kampung Agong became famous and went "viral" on social media due to its numerous creative and highly "Instagrammable" photo spots.
The most iconic of these are the giant, human-sized bird's nests and large swings that are strategically placed to offer stunning views of the paddy fields and coconut trees. It's a fantastic destination for a family day out, offering a unique blend of scenic beauty, cultural nostalgia, and fun photo opportunities.
