Jubilee Clock Tower (Menara Jam Jubli/ ஜூபிலி கடிகார கோபுரம்/ 银禧钟楼)

The Jubilee Clock Tower is one of George Town's most iconic and beloved historical landmarks. Located in a prominent roundabout at the junction of Lebuh Light and Lebuh Pantai, this elegant, 60-foot-tall clock tower was commissioned in 1897 by a wealthy local philanthropist, Cheah Chen Eok, to commemorate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee.
