The Queen Victoria Memorial Clock Tower, a major historical landmark located at the junction of Lebuh Light and Lebuh Pantai in George Town. This elegant, Moorish-style clock tower was commissioned in 1897 by a local millionaire, Cheah Chen Eok, to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria. The tower stands sixty feet tall, with each foot representing one year of the queen's reign.

The clock tower is one of the most iconic and photographed symbols of George Town's colonial past. It is situated in a historically significant area, close to Fort Cornwallis and the Esplanade, and it serves as a beautiful and enduring reminder of the city's connection to the British Empire.
