About Gertak Sanggul Hill
Gertak Sanggul Hill is a ridge located on the southwestern coast of Penang Island. It overlooks the fishing village of Gertak Sanggul and the surrounding sea.
The hill is traversed by various hiking trails that connect the southern coast to Balik Pulau. These trails are known for their scenic coastal views and for passing through agricultural land and secondary forest. It remains one of the more pristine and less developed hilly regions on the island.
