About Esen Hill
Esen Hill is a coastal hill located in Batu Maung, on the southeastern tip of Penang Island. It is closely associated with Pantai Esen (Esen Beach) and is known to locals as Sea View Park.
The hill features a 3.5-kilometer trail that leads through lush greenery to a summit where a century-old Tua Pek Kong temple is situated. The temple was last renovated in 1964 and serves as a spiritual and historical landmark. The hill is a popular spot for watching the sunset over the sea and scattered islands.
