About Erskine Trail
The Erskine Trail is a hiking route located on the northern slopes of the Penang Hill range, near the Mount Erskine area of George Town. It is often referred to as the Cemetery Ridge trail due to its proximity to the local cemeteries at its base.
The trail provides an alternative route to the higher elevations of Penang Hill and is used by residents for regular exercise. It offers a more secluded hiking experience through secondary forest and provides views of the northeastern coastline of the island.
