The inclined lift, "cable car" system, at the magnificent Kek Lok Si Temple. The temple complex is vast and built on a steep hillside, so the inclined lift is a modern and essential feature that helps visitors, especially the elderly, to access the higher levels of the temple with ease. The main lift that takes visitors up to the highest point: the pavilion housing the colossal bronze statue of Kuan Yin, the Goddess of Mercy.
