About Bukit Laksamana
Bukit Laksamana is the second-highest peak on Penang Island, standing at an elevation of approximately 805 meters. It is situated between Penang Hill and the Penang National Park in Teluk Bahang.
The hike to Bukit Laksamana is considered one of the toughest and longest on the island, involving technical climbs and steep ridges. It typically takes 3 to 4 hours to reach the summit from starting points like Taman Rimba. The peak offers a wilderness experience with panoramic views of the island's northern and western coastlines.
