Bukit Bendera

Bukit Bendera is the official Malay name for Penang Hill, one of the island's most famous and beloved attractions. It refers to the entire hill resort area, a cluster of peaks that provides a cool and scenic escape from the city below. The name "Bukit Bendera" translates to "Flagstaff Hill," which was the most developed peak in the early colonial days.
