Air Itam Recreation Forest

Air Itam Recreation Forest, also known as Air Hitam Dalam Educational Forest, is a unique 11-hectare freshwater swamp in Penang, Malaysia. Unlike the island's mountain parks, this sanctuary offers a distinctive natural experience with its dark, deep river and thriving wetland ecosystem. It's a peaceful escape and an important educational site managed by the State Forestry Department.
