The beef rendang and Nyonya laksa are the big attractions, but the real magic comes from owners Amy and Ben, whose warm hospitality has turned this small restaurant into a repeat stop for travellers, families and expats.
It isn’t perfect — the heat can be an issue, the décor is deliberately casual, and recent reviews show that consistency isn’t guaranteed. But when the food is firing and the music starts, Living Room makes a convincing case for slowing down and staying another round.
